I was thinking that I would like to try to create some kind of balance build where I focus on magicka and also survivality with heavy armor. The question is if it would make sense or not, because anyways I would not do enough damage to kill anyone and also from the other side I would just die more slow but in the end die without almost chances.
I would like if people with experience can tell me something.
And the other question is if regeneration in combar is important like max magicka and magicka recovery as focus stats or should I go better max magicka and spell power?
If your a casual player and don't plan on doing the harder content in the game that's fine, you can get away with just about any build for casual players.
If you want to be successful in the harder content, as a magika user you want to be in mostly or all light armor, you can go 1 heavy 1 medium for the undaunted mettle passive and a little more physical and spell resistance & still gain some of the passives from the heavy/medium tree.

I know that what Butters said is the current sentiment here but I couldn't disagree more. I do just fine on the harder content. I'm currently soloing my way through Craglorn and the Imperial City without much issue. I've killed emperors and multiple enemies in PvP. I've also been killed many many times but so has everyone else. People who tell you that you "have" to play a certain way are wrong. You absolutely can do just fine playing in heavy armor using magic - even on the harder content.
