I think it's stupid that a lvl 20 BL pc can inter cyrodil and take out a vet 16. If I had my way about it you would have to be vet 1 or higher to go to PvP, and then a vet 16 would kick a vet 1 ass all over the place. Zen this is dumb.

Good idea! lets go over the checklist of all the things sure to bring a player to PvP.

-Have to grind for weeks to get their
-then farm for months to be competitive gear wise
-upon getting gear realize crap I am less then 1/10th of the way to vr16 where I can use it. (add another month)
-Yay I finally made it into PvP, allow me to begin my week of getting AP farmed because I don't know what a scroll is.
-check know what a scroll is time for my week of no rapid man
-ok got my rapid and my gear and my level...why is their lag?
-ok so laggy but its fine, time to fight someone because dueling is fun and I like to play how I like to play
-no dueling you say...well that's ok let me help siege because all i've ever done is grind.
-sieging isn't killing anyone but when i try to fight someone i get destroyed...this must be a game issue.

time spent preparing: 4 months
time spent in cyr: 1 month
time spent on forums raging nerf: depends how long until the next DLC.

I'm not entirely so sure about this sentiment. With battle leveling, I reckon I could one shot about 80% of the folks running around in cyro if I had a NB with WB unlocked....

Yeah, it's easy to mock and make fun of the guy that didn't have a good time in Cyrodiil. Like all of you buggers were born with staffs, abilities and swords in yer hands.
But it's true, play to learn, keep doing that - be in groups until you learn how to be better with your abilities. And oh, there's no such thing as a badly chosen ability morph. It's reversible though, but you have to pay for that.

@kalimar44 it could really just be that maybe you (or someone else you know) have a new v16 main not optimally-geared and you are encountering the alts of vets with gobs of CPs and extremely-optimized gear for their level. When combined with scaling, these things can be potent in regard to a very experienced player.

My advice would be to just learn by losing and watch those who beat you. PvP needs winners and losers, and losers learn the most. Over time, you will know your build and what you have to do to win with your playstyle. There are lots of good players bringing low VR toons into Cyrodiil who know the game well enough to win some seemingly-longshot battles. No reason to throw your hands up in frustration. You can learn a lot from them.

Regardless of how well the Battlescaling works, i have NEVER lost a 1 vs 1 or even 1 vs X against a under-v16 player(s), ever, much less a nonveteran.
If i did, i would've remembered because i would be humiliated beyond belief if I lost to some random underleveled guy and remember it for the rest of my /facepalming life.

In zergs? No doubt some low levelers have gotten in a killing blow, but in a fair 1 vs 1 scenario - can't recall that ever happening.
No matter how well battlescaling works, it is always worse off in some way than being max with best gear. If you are low but with best gear in slot - sure you get nice stats but you have no skills or passives (my newly created NB with 3k+ WD and 2k+ stam regen and 28k health/33k stamina knows this very well) which is why you get extra stats for the lack of skills and every level up the scaling deteriorates. And no matter how good stats i get, it hardly compensates for the lack of other vital skills i've yet to grind 20 levels and collect 30 skyshards to unlock. And that's why it's called balance (to an extent).

Once you've gotten all your vital skills - by that time you are no longer low and going into your veteran ranks and battlescaled stats no longer go up to what they were when you were level 20, even wearing exactly the same gear but on-level equivalent, because the game expects you to have some more experience and more varied playstyle due to having a lot more skills to play around with instead of just artificially inflating your stats to hardcore levels just to make you "viable".

Sure I enjoy running around with my lvl 19 NB spamming wrecking blow and one other skill, but at lvl 19 that's all I CAN do - when the odds are NOT in my favour or i don't get the jump on my enemy. or he is just a experienced player - I have no utility skills or morphs to put up a decent fight simply because i have no skills, heck i only have just 1 medium armour passive unlocked because all skillpoints i got had to go to some active skills/morphs first and foremost.

The only thing i can deduct here apart from needing LOL button is to say: "L2P" and I rarely throw that childish abbreviation about, but in this case - it is more than fitting and justified...

A NB with WB? Cant happen,since WB belongs to the DKs.

I'd loved to have heard this guy's rage when he got owned by a level 20. But who's to say it wasn't a new toon for a well established pvper? A good pvper will always kill you regardless.

But yeah there should be a 2 week cool down with a giant l2p loading screen everytime they log in. Or a forced tutorial for those that sucketh badly.

A NB with WB? Cant happen,since WB belongs to the DK.

Pretty sure Wrecking Blow is a Two handed weapon skill available to all.
