Will PC be getting controller support update in new patch?

Now that Xbox and PS4 are getting console support will I be able to use my Xbox controller on PC to type messages?

Already implemented, though it's in beta atm and is just a straight port from the consoles it seems. Def needs to allow for button assignment and better response timing, but it's not the worst gamepad support I've seen in a PC title.

Oh I know we have controller support I use it. I'm talking about typing messages with the controller instead of using the keyboard.

Why? MYbe get a wireless keyboard? When in a dungeon party and you want to type with the controller when your almost done typing the dungeon is finished.

I have a wireless M/K I just don't like switching between them. Also if I was running a dungeon that required talking I would just use team speak.
