Can you have true 3rd person view on PS4?

Have they added the ability to have the camera right behind you on PS4? I don't like 1st person or over the shoulder.

About a year ago on PC they came out with a way to center (or put to left or right side) the camera. You can also adjust the vertical offset too.

Poke around in your options and see if there is a way to fix the camera. I would hope so as an offset camera kind of bugs me too. Otherwise, you can zoom all the way back and that kind of almost centers the camera. Your reticule in front of the PC is still off to the side though.

The options suggested above does not exist on either Xbox One or PS4.
Its yet another option for PC only that was omitted from consoles.

It's over the shoulder unless you max out your camera distance from your character. I find it irritating.

Ouch. Only played for a couple of hours on my mom's PS4 but did not try to move the camera.

Is that just camera zoom out to where it's almost centered, or does that let you change the "slant" of the camera?

I don't have a PS4 and my mom lives 65 miles away. So, I have to live vicariously through others PS4's.....

I guess no one looks at the settings..but its clearly on the controller settings

Hmmm.....maybe not then on PS4.

We had it ...maybe since release or the first update but I don't see patch notes so I thought we both had it at launch.

I wish that they had made the camera configurable like they did with PC/Mac. Having to pull all the way back in order to get the reticule to line up with the character is annoying.
