Advice: Dual Wielding Dunmer DK

Hey Guys

This is probably a tedious question, but to put you in the picture, I’ve not long returned to the game, just reached Vet 16 and I’m looking to craft myself some Vet 16 armor, now what with the mental rubedite ore requirements per piece of Vet 16 crafted gear I want to make the armor once and only once, not mess it up by making the wrong set etc. So, I’m a Dunmer DK, primarily stamina abilities and a vampire. I’m wondering what’s the best mixture of sets to use? From everyone’s experience, I’ve looked around but to be honest and I’m not sure what is best.

In addition with regards to a good build, I want to optimise my damage for dungeons and PVP as well as PVE, now I know there’s no overall that’s best for all and maybe it’s best not to mix? But what advice to you other DK’s have for me? It’s all new to me and I’m not entirely sure. I’ve looked and quite fancy the following builds, any of yoo used them?

http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en-GB/discussion/230612/build-orsinium-update-stamina-dk-dps-off-tank-for-pvp-pve

http://esoacademy.com/builds/alduins-breath-pvp-dk-build/

I’m a dual wielder with 50/50, my bow has 50/50 and my sword and board is 50/50, 2H isn’t very high as I’ve never used it and staffs are all under level 15.

So any help I could get from you experienced guys would be awesome.

Thanks

Probably valkyn skoria and hunding's rage would be quite good.
I'd suggest you wait until Thieves Guild is out in a couple weeks until you decide to craft anything, though. V16 gear isn't cheap.

level up 2H, you're still using both hands; just pretend its DW.

I was thinking that as well to be honest, is Thieves guild staying at Vet 16 as opposed to raising to Vet 18? Sure I read Vet ranks are being pulled in Dark Brotherhood patch in Q2?

Valkyn Skorai is that the monster head/shoulders from Vet Dungeons/undaunted right?
I'm currently running Vet 13 gear with 5/5 Huindings Rage and 4/5 Nightmother sets. Haven't upgraded yet as I was power leveling through.

Think I'll make Vet 15 gear as it's cheaper and see what happens once Thieves guidld knocks out

What's DW? :P I'm planning on levelling up 2H up to be honest, reading around I read it was better DPS.

Thanks both for the responses, still not sure what build to go for though with regards to dealing damage in PVP/PVE, any ideas?

    Hunding's as default 5 piece.

If you can craft 9, morkuldin for the rest

If not, maybe 1 piece bloodspawn, 1 kena, 2 of anything that gives you stam or regen. Your BoE won't be a set then, unless you have master/maelstrom.

Or 1 kena or bloodspawn, then 3 ashen?

A better option will be available with TG. There is a set which gives 2 piece weapon damage.Gives a lot more options.

I would suggest bloodspawn, or something with regen in as tou'reca dumner so will lack some natural regen. Unless you plan on running drinks

Honestly though, 2h and bow is so much better for pvp imo. Gap closer, Major brutality, heal, burst move and execute. The only thing you'll lose out on is aoe (you'll still get movement from bow). Something to consider before using mats.

I have been using steel torndao on mobs already, especially grinding in the imperial city sewers! I noticed that I was getting smashed by Wreckin in the imperial city too, 9/10 it was the killing blow, ranging from 10-18k damage o.o!

I honestly dont even know what half the things you said mean lol.

I'm currently runing 5/5 Hundings Rage set so I'm doing something right. The Morkuldin set does really appeal to me, right now all my armor / weapons are at 7/8 traits learnt and my 1h swords are at 9 traits. I'm working on these, but it will be literally 2 months before I've got 9 traits in all, unless I find someone to craft armor for me? lol. I opted for the night mothers set for 4/5 on the rest, all heavy.

From what I'm reading set wise I seem to be doing alright, maybe I was feeling a little inadequate as I was running around with Vet 13 gear in the Vet 16 areas?

What I need now is to know which ring/necklace sets to get and where to get them? I've never really found any good drops for these!! and what Glyphs to use, I heard something about prismatic glyphs which give stam/health and magicka? Is that right? I imagine they are expensive to make? lol

Cheers, appreciate the help. Still not sure on builds though, where to put my attribute points into (currently 10 in health and the rest are in stamina).

As for champion points, mainly in Mighty, Mooncalf, Elemental resist at the moment!
