So today Eric Waddles was going on about how a class shouldn't limit a player to a single role.
Obviously, most player should be in favor of this and even if it's not possible to perfectly balance each class for each role, it is certainly possible to have all classes be able to fulfill any role. In fact, I've been able to run most of my characters as a tank, healer, or dps simply by changing gear and champ points on the fly. The gear? No problem. The cps? 3k to change it to the desired role then another 3k to change it back.
So onto my proposal... Champion Point Alignment Presets!!!
Instead of charging 3k gold each time to change your cps I am suggesting of having two (or possible 3) presets for your cps so your character can change roles on the fly without having to worry about wasting money or time.
With this system in place, people won't pay as often to change their distributions so it should be raised to 5k or even 10k in order to change one of the presets.
Just a thought. Only been thinking it over the last few hours, but wanted to put it out there and see what people had to say about it.

✭✭✭✭✭It should be more expensive to generalize as opposed to specializing. And money's easy. I made 45k just cooking and vending my extras last week.
The issue is that ZOS is chopping off the legs of the fastest runner so that second, third, and fourth can catch up. What, you want your legless runner to go try golf now? *** that.signing off0 -

✭This champion point system shouldn't even exist. The imbalance it brings to an MMO is atrocious. It is the worst form of endgame character progression I have seen in an MMO.

I hate it when people get to cherry-pick super-effectiveness.
I hate it when people get to switch between several min/maxed presets.
I hate it when someone tells me at the beginning of a groupy thing "hold one a moment, I need to respec to..."

KhajiitiLizard✭✭✭✭✭Want to change your build in ESO? Pay for attribute reset, pay for skill reset, pay for CP reset, pay for new gear (or craft but even if you don't pay any gold you still pay with mats and time spent gathering them ).
Want to change builds in other MMOs? Buy or craft new gear... swap out some skills and passives for free.
ESO has you paying 4 different times, while other MMOS you only pay once for the new gear.
