Heart’s Day PTS Event – 2/16

Just a little theoretical concern here ...

If the PTS doesn't get patched and the EU character copy doesn't happen today - will this impact on this event?

If it looks likely that this will be the case could you let us know as soon as you can?

If those of us in the EU are still having to use templates then we could use a bit of notice so we can make an AD template character for the event and get the right clothes together etc. Even if it ends up having to be the US server users who have to roll templates I guess it would be helpful for them to know that in advance too.

I know I'll be rushing home from work as fast as I can tomorrow and I won't have much time to sort things out right before the event if I can't get them sorted after work tonight.

So I updated PTS... went in game... and all my characters are gone. It's making me start in the Wailing Prison. Anyone else have this issue?

It's EU's turn, you have to make a Template vet char. There's an option for that.

Well . . . I'm here on PTS, in vulkhel guard, . . . and I don't see this ceremony taking place?? Was it canceled?

Edit: My bad. Accidentally clicked on real game, rather than PTS. Eventually got there. Looked wonderful. Let's have more events!

Got a couple of guys to help me test the Mara rings. You can actually see me in the above screenshot by @JapanesePlayer . In in the archway in the back. Look at the chat to the left. I'm the one that said "if they stack to 20%.

Anyway Killed some imps... each of the stats below is for killing 1 imp with a level 3 character.

Alone: 44 XP
2 person group with no rings: 44 XP
2 person group with Mara Rings: 48 XP
3 person group with no rings: 31 XP
3 person group with 1 ring: 33 XP
3 person group with 2 rings: 33 XP

It appears that the Rings of Mara do NOT stack. shame.

I got some screenshots as well as the video - plus some more video from before the event started (spitting camels anyone?).

I'll sort those out and post them when I get home from work tonight.

Was nice to have a cross community gathering of some kind. Just wish the official involvement had lasted a bit longer and been more than a reading - like getting everyone to kneel together or sit and stand at the same times etc - make it seem like more of a ceremony.
