I now hate Glass motifs

After all the running around getting mats for doing Lvl 50 crafting writs, handing them in and getting one fragment for every 5 to 6 writs handed (I do all 5 that I have lvl 50 crafting in - sans enchanting), then going off and spending 10k on the glue to create a single glass motif - I have so far been rewarded over the last run of motifs with not one .....

Not 2 ..

Not 3 ...

Not 4 ....

But FIVE glass belts motifs!!!

So with dedicated running around and doing crafting writs. my tally is to date 3 Helmets, 2 Gloves, 1 Mace and 5 frigging Belts.

So I deleted it and hereby foresake ever doing a crafting writ again in this game until they fix their idiotic drop/reward system.

You must be the least lucky person in ESO

So far I comleted 3 chapter and learned bows, shoulders and gloves, but now I halted my progress and started collecting ancient orc, which might take a while as well.

PS: can I have your fragments?

Remember the part about RNG hating me ..... it's all silver items and the occasional repair kit for me.

Has been since writs were introduced.

I must of driven a truck through a mirror shop in an earlier life the way RNG treats me.

At least though I haven't stooped as low as just buying the motifs from the IGS

ive gotten 3 belts 4 bows 3 daggers 3 maces 2 gloves 2 boots myself so far. i think its just a tier of rarity when the item rolls and small pieces like gloves boots belts and a few weapons are more common, feels like that anyways

RNG is a complete gambling joke of a system for progress. They need to implement some sort of badge system for everything in this game.

Naw I generally only bother with the CS for xp scrolls or something.

Lol yep, I normally get the motif, and make a profit from the 10k gold to sort it anyways, got 20 motif fragments in my bank atm as well, maybe I will get chest again or something, just to irritate the OP in a banter fashion hehe.

I feel your pain too OP. I did the same & even the first time when I spent the 10k gold for the glue (srsly... 10k for magic glue!) & got just a single chapter for glass hammers... it was very very underwhelming. Months later I got enough fragments for a second attempt... & got glass hammers again. After that I moused-over all the glass weapons & armour icons & convinced myself that they were not worth the effort. Then the motif hit the crown store & it's definitely not worth 5k crowns in my books.

Now I just sell the fragments in the guild stores.

Check the guild traders, they're full of belt motifs of all kinds, which makes them also the cheapest to buy. I don't know why, but it seems they drop the most for everyone.

Glass was too obvious a push to the Crown Store with the double RNG. I refused to reward them for that.
I got it by doing writs and buying fragments on guild stores.

I think the light armor looks pretty good. I have 3 wearing chest (jerkin) and legs right now and they get compliments all the time. Also the staves are very nice.
