Invisible ballistas

Basically all ballistas on my faction including my own are invisible. I'm on DC, AD and AP I can see and is all normal it's just my alliance. The dwarven sphere from the engine guardian set is invisible too regardless of which alliance is using one.
I've submitted a support ticket and they reckon it's because I'm not connecting to the server or synching with it which is a load of bs otherwise I wouldn't be playing and at very least everything will be messed up not just this one thing for my alliance.
