All players pls write here the problem with logging in a character

Problem:
- infinite loading
- Cant log in a character
- Cant log in game

I need more players with this problem. I want ZOS finaly started to somthing about this problem, witch has many players.

I'm having this problem as well, it's a little random though.
First i'd like to say, I often play under my linux machine, which used to work perfectly before the last update. And I also use a window machine which doesn't work very well as well since last update.


On windows :
The loggin usually works fine beside the loading screen which seems to take like 10 times more than before and here and there I may get errors, like those I describe on linux.
Once I get to the character selection and I click "play", there is a small box with a rotating icon saying "Requestion character load.." or something like that. At some time, the entire game will freeze, the rotatiing icon stops and I may not get into the game at all, game may stay in that frozen state or I may get kicked back to the loggin screen and do this again and again.

On linux :
I have the same problem to loggin but a lot worse, it often kick me with erro 301 or none, or with a message saying there is a problem ..blah.. try later.
Once I managed to get up to the character selection and click "play", it's now garantee the game will freeze and I'll have to kill it.

It's pretty much the same problem in both case except on linux I can't get into the game at all. On windows If I continue to try I'll get into the game but it still so *** annoying, plus the game may have some crash here and there, i mean it's *** pain in the <put_a_word_here>.

There's also consistent problems with logging into characters in [EU][EP] Mournhold. If you log out there, many can't log on to the character again during hi population hours. See http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/246311/crashes-when-porting-to-mournhold

Hello, are you stuck at the "requesting character load..." thing? Me and a few others have been dealing with this issue. I made a forum post here titled "stuck at "requesting character load...." " in case you want to post on that to bump it up, as well as this post (so support gets to us quicker)

Since the last patch I've been able to login with first attempt and reach the character selection screen but when I hit Play it'll freeze at "Requesting character load" for a short while and then I'll get booted out to the login screen with the message along the lines of "An Error has occurred please try again in a few minutes."

When I try to log in again I'll then get "Error 301". The process happens all over again if I exit the client and re-launch.

Edit: Also, anyone know if the maintenance for the 12th is supposed to resolve this issue?

Sounds like there's a reasonable chance the error is with the Account System and maintenance of some kind would fix it.

I have the same issue since the 2/8/16 update. I can get to "Requesting Character Load" and it hangs, or sometimes I get a little further to the next load screen where it hangs and dies. I never had a problem like this before and I've been playing since March of last year.

I've seen other posts describing the same issue, but no word from ZOS as yet anywhere.

I started avoiding Mounhold like the plague (soz the pun) at night... one I used the wayshrine to Mounhold, my gaming session for the night on that character is over. Oh and random disconnects since the past week, yes.

What I don't get though is booting you to the login when you get stuck in Mounhold. I'm assuming its because the area/instance is full... but that's only for that character, why boot completely out? It would have made LOADS more sense just dropping you back to the character selection screen. I mean, its only your loaded character that has issues, not your entire account?

Basic Internet Programming 101.
It would be like failing to post a comment on Facebook and because of that failure, requiring you to re-login.
