The actual weapons?, not really. It would look weird. I mean the material. Like it was colored in using ms paint. Maybe quivers, though?.
I think it's a fine line with dying gear in games, before it gets to the stage of looking like it's from the power rangers.
Saying that. That's just my own opinion ofc.
Before somebody reports me for not agreeing with their pov.
I'm still for dying everything. Just release a grayscale/medium matte silver version of everything and let players customize them before heading out. Even mounts. You want your horse brown? Okay. You want it pink? Okay.
Pink was considered a more masculine color until the post-war 1940's. Blue was seen as the feminine color. Because of all the neutral, earthtone colors used in WWII, fashion basically reinvented itself and many notable celebrities and artists migrated to pink for women not so much because it was feminine but because it was more fun than black or beige or the previous standard, blue.
And you do know that children dressing like younger versions of adults is a 1940's construct, too, right? If there were historically accurate children in an Elder Scrolls game, boys and girls would both be wearing dresses around town. Maybe that's what Hermaeus Mora knows...
So yes. All the dyes.

What I think is funny is that the forum is full of people who just want somewhat normal colored weapons. Zo$ is the one with the *** red swords. Honestly what colorblind macaroni allowed rubedite to make it out of the studio.
Plz let me clean all this strawberry jam off my sword Zo$, I want to be able to dye my weapons a somewhat reasonable color.

(seriously how can anyone use the excuse that we shouldn't have silly looking weapons when the standard right now is strawberry red)
