ZOS So excited about the new patch!

I couldn't care less for the DLC itself (I would have loved it if it had a PVP component, where you could actually pick-pocket other players and implement guards with real players rather than just NPCs. It would have been awsome!) but the changes to the meta, skills and certain new armor-sets (especially the AVA ones) are really exciting me! Not to mention the new Alliance vendor!!

Also, thanks for the UI and future world text chat, improving the grouping tool, as well as increasing AP per player, giving us a chance to break apart Zergs, and speeding up Assault and Support progression. So many things to be excited about!

I know the community often busts your b***s with all sorts of demands and complaints, but acknowledgement is due when things are done well. The game is far from being perfect (please get rid of AOE caps and lags!) but this is certainly moving in the right direction.

I'm a little sad for stam sorc and dps templar, but the rest is indeed amazing. Haven't tested the new dlc itself, but nearly all change on skills are great !

Hope the alliance vendor's price won't be changed, and the apparently new helm drop rate (nearly 1/3 chance, and mostly divine/infused) will be the same on live !

Wow, I didn't know about the new helm drop rate!!! That's awesome! I was afraid that the new Alliance vendor would kill group dungeons, but if the helmet drop rate is like this, it will still offer a very valid reason for doing group dungeons and pledges. So far I got all the shoulders (apart from Kena and Engine Guardian) but I never managed to get ANY helmets.

New alliance vendor prices are quite surprising tbh. I was expecting at least 200k gold and 500k AP for that stuff.

I love this game but I always hated the grind for everything. I don't mind exceptionally challenging or time-consuming stuff, as long as there is a reasonable balance for players that have lives as well (I think they hit the sweet spot by allowing you to save progress on Vet Maelstrom). This is why I have only one maxed out character and 7 more builds in their 20s-30s. I will definitely get them to lev.50 before the VR system gets scrapped with the Dark Brotherhood DLC
