Reverb is still a pain to CC break + The heal debuff stacking is a pain in the ass.

This is the PTS after all, might as well find out the top of the line stuff before live kicks in.

It didn't seem like you dodged all that much, but the few times you did I didn't notice the rune from the Eternal Hunt set. The stacking heal debuff was brutal though.

That healdebuff set doesnt only need a cooldown, it needs to not stack with major defile.

More or less every good set that got a cooldown patched on it has become worthless to use in most cases. It would be enough it they just do no allow it to stack with major defile.

Never thought I'd say it, but I think sorcs are gonna go hybrid pet for duels in the near future. Those combos with the heal debuff were just nasty to watch. Even yui only lasted a couple seconds more than the rest.

Very cool build Sypher. The Guile set is super strong it seems.

Watching this makes me so bitter that they haven't done more for Stam Sorcs to be able to use pets.

Can you qualitatively describe the power/feel difference between your stam NB and your new magicka DK?

The heal debuff on the Guile set seems super strong. Comments?

Did you try the alchemist set for your NB?

EDIT: why did nobody CC you in those fights?

The Stam NB was tankier than my Dk and had higher kill potential and killed people much faster. This build was designed mainly for dueling and was theory crafted a couple of months back (never put it together live because of lack of gear), only new addition was the guile sit which puts it over the top.

I personally believe as far as 1v1s are concerned this nightblade might be close to the strongest dueling setup. I could be wrong as its early in pts.

The reason I wasn't ccd much is I kept my opponents on the defensive 90% of the time and could keep block up reliably.

I dont think alchemist set is that good for NB in duel as you want to profit of the catalyst passive and thus use pots only in "oh crap moments" or right after an ultimate (this way you will get another soul harvest up almost instantly). So basically with this set you would have to use a pot before the first ultimate of your burst rotation and waste this pretty nice passive. Just my two cents

Stacking heal debuffs while being able to do high burst dmg is completely unbalanced, at least for small scale fights.

Magicka NBs will also be able to do this and constantly Cloak, Proxy Det and Fear.

The point is that there are few drawbacks when these sets have weapons, shield and jewerly, any build can incorporate it really easily.

The sustain from this build comes purely from the 1v1 match ups. In open world or even 1v2 the stam is drained so quickly.

I do think that if they made Guile a purely heavy armor set (no jewlery or weapons) it will be more balanced.

Because currently you can run it with 5 light/medium/heavy

:open_mouth: I love Hunt for duels. Guile is way too strong though.. Such a huge debuff for it to be permanently applied in combat.

It did when I tested Durok's bane. could get over 90% heal reduce with the champ heal debuff line, and that was with low champ points. Don't remember exact value, but i think 40 points used.
Imagine it works same way now.

      Tested it:

It only partially stacks it seems.

      0 in befoul:
0.50 * 0.70 = 35% healing taken. numbers didn't exactly match up but close enough. Actual value was 36% healing taken in test.

      with 100 in befoul:
0.335 * 0.6 = 20% healing taken. again numbers weren't 100% exact. The heal was a few points higher than it should have been. Actual value was 22% healing taken in test.

Can't explain the few % difference, I had no passives or gear that should boost healing.

Im not an experienced dueler but I believe thats usually the setup right? High dmg with relative bad sustain.

Do you know if it possible to heal debuff multiple targets with this set?

I think there should be more rewards for wearing 5x HA in pvp, this set could help to do that if there were no rings or weapons available. I think it would still be pretty strong on a heavy armor DK for example.

Noticed this set bugs out if you do anything to your gear (ie. enchant).. you need to unequip / re-equip a piece to get it to work again.
