Vet 6 armor set better than my vet 9 armor set

So I recently just turned vet 9 and one of my friends crafted me an armor set, yet this armor set is worse than my vet 6 armor set. Both sets are superior and are the hundings rage set. However when I put on the vet 9 set my weapon damage goes down. All of the stats on the vet 9 armor set are higher. I can't figure out why this set is worse. Please help

Did you make any changes to your skill load out? Do you have Glyphs on the new armor? Does the armor and weapons have the same traits as before? Did you change or lose your Mundus effect?

Also, sometimes there is a lag on the character sheet when changing gear and not all things get tallied. This usually sorts itself in a few minutes as the save is updated through the server.

Did you perhaps have any wep damage buffs up when you checked your vet 6 stats? Or were you perhaps battle leveled(in Cyro/groupfinder made group)?

I have checked that there were no damage buffs i went in and out of the cyrodiil i have taken everything off of my character and just kept the armor on and the vet 6 is still better. I will post screenshots

It wants me to log on to Google+ to view that. You can upload pictures to a site like Photobucket (there are plenty of other image hosting sites, that's just the one that I happen to use), and then embed it here using img tags (many image hosting sites will give you something to copy and paste that includes the img tags and the location of the image so that you just copy that from the hosting site, and paste it directly into your post here).

Well, it looks like you haven't put enchants on all of your VR9 stuff yet, and your Stamina pool is lower. That will have an effect, but it won't be enough to make the full difference. It looks like you also switched from using Ashen Grip as a secondary set to using Night's Silence as a secondary set. I can't tell if you had enough pieces of Ashen Grip to get the 3-piece bonus, but if so that would explain it right there.

Ok so I think it was because of the ashen grip. I have 3 set pieces on (including a bow which i forgot about). I will enchant the vet 9 pieces with stamina glyphs and see if there are any noticeable changes. Thanks for your help. I dont know why I had such a problem with this.
