Hear me out.
Currently on Xbox One and possibly on PS4 many of us customers who try to subscribe to ESO Plus are granted the benefits of ESO Plus but we do not recieve crowns. Sometimes the initial setup gives crowns and other times it does not. More often than not, any non-PayPal subscriptions do not grant crowns because the credit card transaction date on Xbox one doesn't align with the actual credit card transaction on your credit card statement.
Whatever the cause ZOS has said they fixed or resolved the matter but they didn't. All they did was give those who had ESO plus, extra crowns in regards to the amount of subs they had and called it fixed.
My suggestion is:
Use the existing crown packets available on consoles today and offer ESO Plus included with those increments in correlation to the number of days based on crowns awarded.
Because of this, remove the ESO plus subscription until you fix it because the ESO plus where you click the thumb stick vs the one you find when you search in the Xbox one store may be part of the problem or perhaps it's just a larger issue between Xbox and ZOS. Whatever....just offer reasonable options.
So yes this does grant crowns and access to DLC but I don't foresee any harm as long as the language and details are changed.
Another option is to just offer the DLC as cash purchases (which would apply to the game and not a server) even if these costs more than crown purchases.
I know you'd rather just do a sub but honestly...it doesn't work and after almost a year...no resolution. This and on PC you can buy multiple months of ESO plus while on consoles you can't. Just keep it simple. Cash for DLC crown with ESO plus in increments. Remove ESO plus sub
