I am one of the only few nightblade healers our there on xbox one. We are a small group as is. And to be a valid healer, we have to bust our butts to do both dps and healing at the same time. Its not an easy class to play. The changes to funnel health will kill this class completely. ZOS, you always encourage people to play how you want to play and can be any class. But the more you change, the more you are only supporting the cookie cutter builds. Nightblade healers will now be ever more turned over for a templar healer which even with the loss of breathe of life, they will now to be able to stand in their own stuff and do 25% healing. Where is that for nightblades? I get that changes need to be made to balance the game, but these changes hurt nightblades with no benefit. Where is the balance?

Im not happy with this change but i do think its for balancing; a group with 2 nb dps and a skilled tank can do all vet dungeons atm without a healer or any healing staff skills slotted.

I also run a NB healer for PVP and Templar for PVE. I would be ok with the nerf to funnel health IF there was a way we can get Major Mending. but nope

This is what templars get in the next patch:

Focused Healing: This passive ability now grants you the Major Mending buff while standing in your own Cleansing Ritual, Rune Focus, or Rite of Passage area effects and for up to 2/4 seconds after leaving them at Ranks I/II, instead of granting you 15/30% more healing to allies standing in your own Cleansing Ritual, Rune Focus, or Rite of Passage.

Where is the nightblades major mending?

The nightblades are probably doing off heals so the two nightblades is like one healer. But I am speced as a full out healer. I can heal all dungeons, trials, etc. I don't need another nightblade in the party to heal. I can run with any group. Funnel health is our main spammable heal as a nightblade which also does damage. I would have to relay more on restro staff abilites and then I would be the joke people say nightblade healers are. "What you heal with a restro staff?? lol"

What I want to know was how was funnel health not balanced before? Nightblades already had a hard time healing so zo solution is to make it harder?

Actually Zos has stated over and over, you can play any class how you want to play, I dont want to play as a stealth character. So now to be a viable nightblade, I have to play a sheath character? Doesn't that go against everything they said before by forcing us to play only one way.

This was a sad change at first, but all in all it's really not going to change much in the long run. Templar will be favored by casual players for sure, but a Nightblade healer is still going to kick butt.

A healer that heals through DPS is not overlooked by smart players. The funnel health heal lasts I believe for 10 seconds, so you have plenty of time to refresh it on all players in a 4 player group.

All I'm saying is, take this as a challenge to your skills, step up and show the world why Nightblade healers are great.

Sooo you dont want to have Stealth as a escape? A lot of templars take vampire just to use Mistform to help mobility and to escape.. Not sure i understand, you dont have to use a stealth toon but its a nice way to escape dont you think?

I am a nightblade healer. I heal. I don't even have dark cloak on my bar.

My front bar is sap essense, inner light, harness magicika, entropy and funnel health
back bar siphon spirt, inner light, healing ward, mutugen, and siphon attacks

This is a not stealth build. Add cloak to my bar will not help my character in anyway.

@rozwellite so when you get Targeted for being the healing how do you Escape or avoid being attacked? Your missing best CC in the game to.

@sempars I guess you have never played with a nightblade healer because we don't need to avoid aggro we can take it. If we don't have a tank in the group I can throw on a sword and shield to help take aggro off the dps. My character is a stand in the middle up front thats the best part of a nightblade healer. And as for cc again the difference between playing as a healer vs dps. My job is to keep ppl alive.

@rozwellite sorry we are talking about two different set ups. PVP and PVE. I dont PVE with My NB so no i dont know, I only PVP with my NB healer.

It is two different kinds of builds. But the point is funnel health is the key to my build. As of right now I can heal v16 prison while running around throwing grenades which is freaking hard. Anyone that has healed prison knows that place is a beast. Funnel health was not an unbalanced skill and it should not have been changed. I hear ppl complaining about nightblades and their shealth but not once have I heard "darn nasty nightblade with their stupid funnel health". They changed templars bol but they also gave templars the ability to do 25% more healing. Nightblades got the same nerf but no positive.
