ESO Plus-Only Lag-Free Server and Campaigns

The lag in ESO is making the game unplayable. The game is warping all over the place. I am experiencing 999+ pings on a 320 megabit connection. To make matters worse I am paying a subscription to lag in ESO.

Therefore, I propose the following:
Zenimax should create ESO Plus member only, lag-free server and Cyrodiil campaign's.

IT just is not worth paying a monthly fee for 999+ latency.

    I just dont understand why you say it's unplayable. I have no problems playing it and I have an older NVIDIA GForce video card.

    What magical dimension of Cyrodiil are you in? Because Azuras is unplayable for me, and Trueflame is beginning to turn that way now too as everyone migrates. Part of the reason I live in the sewers is because there's very little to no lag down there. The second I pop up to Cyrodiil I get hit with lag and 4 second weapon swapping. It's horrible.

    This must be a joke thread.

    How on Earth do you propose that they segregate Plus players onto a "good, lag-free server," which does not exist at the moment, and then deliberately keep the rest of the players in a laggy server.

    That, and free players buy Crown Store stuff too, so why would they want to discourage these people from playing and supporting due to lag?

    What happens if every single player currently in your campaign subs and plays on your new server/campaign? Just because they're subscribers doesn't mean there won't be lag. The lag was a problem before the game was F2P.

    Hmm how to do it?
    if (Member.IsEsoPlus)
    {
        Member.Character.TransferToEsoPlusServer();
    }
    else
    {
        Member.Character.TransferToFreeToPlayServer();
    }

    Yes, you are right, it would be impossible to segregate ESO Plus and free to play players. *rolls eyes*

    ESO Plus members should at the least have
    • Priority login and zoning - no waiting in long queues and no long zoning (this is easy) (PlanetSide 2 does this for their members, it works great)
    • Priority low latency connection (much more difficult, would require a separate server(s)).

    Make it so ZoS.

    You need to read before you post. This is not a tech support or hardware thread. My hardware and connection are both VERY good. The problem is server latency.

    There's one megaserver per region. Every campaign is hosted on the same server. There's no transfer to be had.

    I wouldn't be opposed to an ESO+ only campaign, but it would likely have the same latency issues. The only real difference would be the exponentially higher level of entitlement tied to an "elite" campaign.

    A lot of issues I've had with latency have been solved by tweaking my modem settings or rebooting the modem. ZOS can't solve your ISP's problems, either. Everything from DNS errors to overselling bandwidth can substantially affect your performance.

    I am on the magical dimention of the NA Server.And every once in a while,I head into Cyrodiil to forage for mats. So far I have not had any problems,not on the EU,PTS,or the NA servers,playing my game.What part of that is hard to grasp?
    I have no idea why you cant,but obviously you do have problems.Could be something with your PC besides the video card.

    Dude, that might one of those Million reasons to pay; fluid foraging experience in Cyrodiil.
