Puncturing Strikes: This ability and its morphs no longer knockback and apply crowd control immunity to the nearest enemy on the final hit; instead, they now snare that enemy by 70% for two seconds.

    I like it.
    The question is - when is the snare applied? If it's on final hit as well, not so great. First hit would be better.

    I saw a pts duel vid from mag templar pov. It looks like its not applying on the first hit what isnt good

    That's disappointing to hear indeed. Well at least the skill doesn't grant cc immunity anymore.

    its on the last and pretty OP as being the one affected by it you are unable to get out of its range or in closecombat range to the templar without shuffle/retreating maneuver = sure death for any magica build(but sorcs).

    I like it.
    Doesnt matter that much when the snare is applied. The primary benefit is free cc immunity being gone - Now you can actually set up a burst with javelin or any other hard cc of your choice.

    yes, it all depends on WHEN it is applied. I would have to see how it handles in PvP before I know if it is good or bad

    You can't have a stun without giving CC immunity. Skills used to work like that and it was broken, stupid, and simply terrible for the game.

    Fixes free cc immunity.

    Magica Templars made out very well.

    Stamina Templars went from average to terrible overnight.

    As to the snare I don't think it will make it off test in its current form.

    I don't get why the snare or the knockback isn't applied to the very first tick. It's a channeled skill which is extremely hard to land on anything other than NPC's. I honestly think it needs a wider cone just to make it more reliable in PvP and it needs to always channel in the direction your crosshairs are pointing, NOT the direction your character is stepping.

    puncturing was the only decent skill in solopve and with bol were the only 2 decent skills to use on smallscale pvp.
    no sense to use templar anymore:)

    new pvp templar, rapid regen-eclipse spam, farm APs &make ZOS happy about this crappy game.
