Light Armor Focus/Medium Armor Focus/Heavy Armor Focus

"Light Armor Focus: This ability now grants a flat amount of Physical Resistance per point spent that scales with your level, instead of granting a percentage increase to Physical Resistance."

Does this increase each piece of light armour by that amount,
or
is it a flat overall rate?

Can I stack the light, medium and heavy to really max the crap out of physical resistance?

The 2:3:4 ratio ?

No, because the passive only works when you are wearing 5 pieces of the respective armor type, so you can only have one active at a time.

No, the flat overall rate is the same for LA, MA and HA. With 100 points in the focus it gives 5281 physical resistance which is 8% physical mitigation. This is equivalent to putting 20 points in Hardy. So Hardy is way better because it also provides resistance to Poison and Disease and the physical resistance provided by armour focus is affected by penetration.

I don't understand this one. Were they trying to improve armor focus or nerf it? On my stam dk i run 2 heavy 5 med with reinforced on the heavy and shield, 10% into med armor focus putting me at 26k phys resist buffed. With this change i think i'll have less physical resistance with the same amount of cp into medium armor focus...

what is on live the effect of the CP for LA, MA, HA ?

does somebody know that formular ?

Looks like whether or not physical resistance is improved, hardy will be significantly better to invest cp into.

I use this formula to get a rough estimate of physical resistance

where Armour Focus corresponds to the relevant champion point sign under the Warrior constellation. The Lady mundus provides 1980 Physical Resistance at V16 and is put into the variable Other. Major Ward also goes under Other. The Reinforced trait increases the tooltip armour value and will be included when calculating Gear. The Shield Expert passive under the Steed increases the tooltip value of the shield thus is also included in Gear.

So it sounds like @Armenian_Ninja has 20k'ish physical resistance before Major Ward. 10 points in Armour Focus is 3.6% which 720 physical resistance. On the PTS, 10 points in armour focus gives you 647 physical resistance. So a slight nerf. The 720 physical resistance is 1.09% physical damage reduction.

But you're way better off putting that 10 points in armour focus into Hardy. If you had nothing in Hardy previously, 10 points will give you 5% physical damage reduction.
