Honor The Dead Question

Well, with this coming (maybe. It's in PTS notes)
I'm now looking into if Honor The Dead is now a viable option.
As I read it now (using a website as I'm at work)
BoL will heal 2 targets, one of those will only be a half-heal.
HtD heals 1 targets - but returns magicka. 18% every 2 seconds for 6 seconds according to the site I looked at.
In my theory.. HtD would give you back 54% of your HtD spell cost after 6 seconds. If I cast HtD WITHIN those 6 seconds, does the magicka return stop and start over?
AKA - can I quick spam HtD twice to get it to hit the same amount of targets and still get the full magicka return.

BullNetch✭✭✭I'd rather spam mutagen now that the emergency heal can crit and is fixed.
I'm thinking of switching to the magicka DK for healing.
I'll put a good amount of points into bastion, farm for the trinimac set.
Igneous shield, spell power buff, buffed resto staff heavy, magma shell.
Gonna rolle a High Elf DK tonight.

Thanks @Dread_Knight_N7 for that. That's exactly what I was wondering. Essentially, in order for me the to receive the full magicka return from honor the dead, I need to wait until the ticks are done to cast it again. ✭I've found it to be unreliable while running in groups, since you may be trying to heal yourself but someone else close to you had lower hp, so the heal was redirected. It's the same philosophy behind Healing Ward.1 -

✭I mostly roll solo or small man pvp/pve and HtD is worth it imo even though the ticks reset if you spam it. I just consider it as a regen bonus added to the mp regen on our rune. BoL change didn't hit me directly but I still am kinda mad about it as I feel line of sight was the issue not the heal itself.1 -

They can send aedric spear to DKs for a more "knightly" approach, restoring light for the Sorcs, so they can finally heal, and Dawn's wrath to the NBs, because, you know, after NIGHT it comes DAWN

Eg. I spam it 4 times in 3 seconds would I get 4 lots of the 60% returned? Or just 1 lot? Thanks

No it just refreshes the duration. Only 1 stack at any time. On a positive note, it was broken for several months and fixed a couple patches ago. So that's good.0 -
