Exposing scammers

Hello all, is their a way to expose any scammers or banning them from the game? I just had my first experience with a scammer and i lost a lot of my gold and hard work. Someone was suppose to make me nirnhoned armor for all my medium armor. I have done direct trades before in the past but I never had this problem happen to me. I gave the crafter all the material needed to make me nirnhoned armor he then shortly left the group and blocked me (I added him so we can do a direct trade instead of sending material through mail). In the end he ended up walking away with my material which was worth up to 50k. I know that is not a lot for most people but that is for me since I do not sell a lot or have items worth a lot also i spent hours trying to farm nirnhoned but had no success which is why I had to buy it
So to prevent this from happening to other is their a way to get him banned from the game even for a little or list full of scammers names?

If you have some sort of evidence you could try to contact support and see if they can punish the user, or maybe they can relay the information to the proper team for review. If you don't have proof, then contact support and see if they can replace your stolen items, I think they will only do this one time, your situation may be different though. Either way contact support and see what they can do.

There is a "Report Player" option that you can use. If that person is on your friends list I think you can right click on their name and the option will pop up.

Report player, if you don't remember their name, mention the time it happened, exactly what happened and what server. ZOS has a way to go through the chat logs.

Next time when dealing with strangers do it in small batches - like one item at a time.

Also ask for a deposit that would cover the materials you give up (at least a part of it).

And the loss in this case will be minimal.

yes I have video proof, or atleast I think i do, i clicked share on the ps4 controller and saved the video, I am unfamiliar how that works since I dont really use it but i clicked on the share button and then saved the video im not sure how long the video recorded is. I also have the name of the person, I didn't want to mention their name because I was unsure if that would be against the forum rules.

Any trade outside of office all trade channels is not supported by zos. They will tell you to be careful dealing with players and pray to the rng gods you get nirn

As far as I know they do help in such cases from what I've heard. So try contacting the support.
