Guild Banks
Why is there no auto stack for the guild bank.. I am getting sick of having to pull *** out of the Guild bank and put it into my bank to stack it, Then pull it back out then put it back into the guild bank. Why is this?
Also for the guilds that are not trying to get a guild trader let us GM use the guild gold to buy more guild spaces..... 500 spaces for a guild that has 500 people is stupid.... If everyone put one thing into the bank there will be no spots left. COME ON ZENIMAX,get you *** together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

✭ZOS had a duping bug in the past, so no, items do not stack in banks, so yes, your gonna have to "manage" the guild bank by taking stuff out, sorting/stacking it and putting it back in, if you are a guild master or officer, assign someone the job or do it yourself.. no QQ about it... thanks for your input..Signed, Kotaro Atani.PS5 NAVR16/ CP 160 Khajiit Nightblade of the Aldmeri Dominion, Guildmaster and Assassin of the Queen's Hand guild on NA PC. If you are on PC, there are add ons to do it.
Add ons: Taking up the slack for ZOS since 2014
they knew the game needed addons when it launched lol. even since beta there has been a addon option in the launcher itself ;s0 -

So what you are saying that ZOS can't do a simple program to stack items? Its really not that hard to do....
And all I was asking is a way for a guild to upgrade its bank... So thank you for your input..0 -

✭If you attempted to search for this topic you'd have found that it's been brought up a couple dozen times and it's always the same response.
As far as guild bank space, it's fine. The 500 members don't need to clog a guild bank with useless trash. If your guild bank is at 500/500 you probably have a couple hundred slots taken up by trash and whoever should be watching that is not doing their job.
People assume a guild bank is for all the unwanted items so someone down the road might find the trash useful. That's what personal banks are for.0 -

TBH alts are the best storage if your on console.. the guild bank should be for items just to use for guild crafting etc.0 -

Your right, it is not that hard on the client side to do this, however the addons that stack items are just automating the client side tasks through the UI. It was when this was implemented on the server side that the dup bug was an issue. Not sure why they have not implemented the client side of it, could be a technical reason or something else related to server traffic. They did recently add back item stacking on the personal bank though.
When I have stacked things from the Guild Bank, I did not have to put them into my personal bank, just withdraw the two stacks, combine them if they did not already combine, then deposit them back.

✭✭When the console version launched, you actually did have to take them out of the guild bank and put them in your personal bank to stack them, since there was no way to grab and drag the stacks together. With one of the earlier patches, they added a stack button to the interface so that you can stack all items in your inventory. That has alleviated some of the issue, so that there are the same steps as PC, but prior to adding that button, it was even more of a pain on console to manage guild bank inventory.0 -

Acharnor✭✭✭✭Roomba addon for PC is a Godsend. I play on PC but use a controller sometimes and hate the controller UI in the bank. I always turn it off to bank.Celebrate for life is short but sweet for certain.0
