I just happened to get a newer character up to Rivenspire (I've done it with several other characters previously), and was struck again with the fact that the Rivenspire questline is perhaps the most well put together questline, in terms of moral and ethical quandaries and political questions, in all of the game that I've played (admittedly, I haven't really done craglorn, and have avoided all pvp, so no cyrodiil experience at all). There are ramifications to most of the major choices in Rivenspire that just don't appear in any other region's major questlines that are almost profound. I find myself appreciating that I can look at the major players, especially the two contending choices at the end, and seeing both good and bad in both, and having to compare what would happen to their kingdom as it rebuilds in order to make the decision (Notably, i do favor Countess Tanith, but that's more because I tend to favor compassion over discipline, though I see the need for both). None of the choices are really black and white, and all of them are presented in a way that is almost real-world in how such things could very well happen. I applaud Zenimax for creating such a profoundly viable social ecosystem in at least one of their regions. It's one where I at least felt that my actions and endeavors did have purpose, some serious purpose indeed, in some places.
