You can go through the trouble to try and get them back, but to be honest, the treasure maps are kind of worthless. You don't get anything special from them and they take up a lot of space.
I would just move forward and forget about them. You aren't missing anything by not having them.

Also another big problem is you have to unpack them in order to put them in your bank which is beyond stupid, thus unable to transfer because with that one inventory space is limited I would not be able to unpack all the maps, either which is why they need to make the three containers for each factions maps, able to be put into bank without having to unpackage it. But hey at least you get to have a special pet for having the explorers pack unlocked when I got the game before it went to buy to play I was probably one of the few who bought the game from a store like Walmart and was able to play any race in any alliance at the time. Which I am glad they added the crown store so everyone could be able to get that privilege.
Which from what I can tell the explorers pack is only released with the game disc install thus you can't get it anywhere else. Unless you get the codes online that is.
These aren't the same maps as in the Explorer's Pack. Not that it matters, either way they aren't worth much, just thought I'd point it out.Plus, you will pick up treasure maps as you play the game and they will be in the zones you are in at the time. And, you can buy them at the Guild Stores.

Yeah, you cant even put the maps in your bank, even after unpacking them.
Did you also get the pet? I got mine with the game at launch.
