I would be more than willing to dish out crowns for the capability of making my own costume with my current motif knowledge. For the time being though, can we at least dye them?

I would love the ability to turn a worn costume into an outfit template you can then equip independantly of the actual component items. i.e so you can create an outift (for the outfit slot) out of what you wear in order to keep the visuals but without relevant attached stops of the component piece that make up the new outfit.

I would definitely pay for that. It's worth more than anything they've had in the crown store to date.

This would be great.Or to be able to create costume pieces. Not where you have to wear an entire costume. If you wanted,.you could just wear the top or the bottoms,or even just the hoods, etc.

World of Warcraft had this in transmogrification, with the ability to keep a style of armor you've already worn and had in your bags, and put it over your current armor.

It was a good system but horrible on bag space for a lot of people.

I never found that in WoW.I played it for a long time.

    Totally agree.

By the way, why can't we dye weapons already ?...
I'm bored to be stuck with a red staff or sword while wearing my usual pale-blue armor

If I could design a costume I would actually make one that hides more armour pieces other than helm (chest and shoulders for example) I would love to show off my elf pecks while in combat.

DCUO has the best system for this.. gear and styles are separate. once you equip your gear, it goes under the "style" tab and you can wear that "style" any time, without keeping the gear. so you just build up a wardrobe and can dress however you want without sacrificing stats.

Yeah they do! This game is big in the spirit of forging your gear though, so I wouldn't expect that system implemented any time soon.

How about instead of that just making it possible to craft unlocked costumes ? So for example if you bought the Nord Hero costume you can craft just the helmet via blacksmithing. If you bought the wedding suit you can craft just the shirt & jacket via tailoring.

See where I am going with this? That way you CAN craft it. You can also use a tabard then...

HOWEVER - these items should be bound immediately so as not to exploit and sell the style to non crownstore buyers.
