Best way to level 1-50?

everleygrace
I just started an alt and want to lever her up quickly as possible.

What is the best way to do it... Grind? Follow the main story quests? Both?

I'm in AD.

Main Story Quests including Guild Quests, Dolmens, Dungeons... If you can use XP Potions it will greatly speed the process up

What do you mean by "the best way?"

    Fastest: grinding

Medium fast: main faction quests and skyshard hunting (No side quests ). Do the main game quest after the faction quest is compete. Save the Mage, Undaunted, and Fighters guild for last.

Do the cyrodiil questing villages. On Sunday I was level 16 yesterday I went to level 31 I also did a little cracked wood cave grind for a bit. And this was without xp pot. I plan on hitting 40 or 40+ after work today.

Grind quest hub mobs, preferably zombies using fire. Grind mobs that are less than 6 levels higher and less than 6 levels lower for most efficient xp. Beyond that, trivial or miss too much.

    Quests are always slower.

Collect all books and skyshards, close all dolmens, grind the rest. At least that's what I do on alts.
Its possible to grind a char very fast, but you will need books and shards anyway, so...

Do the main story quests and all the zone quests that grant skill points first. Then do delves(give sky shards+good exp on first boss kill) and dolmens(give really good XP) and guild quests. Every time you get a chance to do a new dungeon, do so and do the quest.

For your gear, at least at the beginning, make it exploration and at least one piece of each kind with training weapon.

    Fastest way:
Subscribe to the game 10%exp boost Get a friend at the same level, marry them with Pledge of Mara 10%exp boost Either grind mobs or grind dolmens ( if you time dolmens right you can get all 3 in the zone without having to wait ). IF you have money to burn buy exp scrolls with crowns or potions with gold.

Note this grinding method bores most players and actually makes them want to stop playing the game, I recommend doing world bosses, dolmens, delves, dungeons and main storyline quests including guild quests so that you don't burn out.

If however you are motivated you can achieve great things, check my sig and look @ Godfrey's level end of the week.

What made me lv up like crazy, was going around and killing everything in my way, but that gets a bit boring over time :(
