Tanking guide for new players?

Could anyone point me in the direction of a tanking (and possibly healing guide for my Mrs) for new players or offer a few tips?

I've had a look at a few online that I found via Google but they're all from 2014 or early 2015 so I'm struggling to see if they're still relevant.

I've always played the tank in mmos and would like to continue that trend. The difference that I can immediately see is that there are no group aggro skills.

I'm sitting at around level 33. I've based my build on a recent one posted on these forums from LeftyLucy it seems to be more pvp based but that's good as I eventually want to mainly running pvp - I've always liked tanks that can pump out strong dps.

Looking at starting to tank some dungeons now with the Mrs also running as a healer and since they're all scaled to VR16 I want to make sure we're not wiping groups!!

I just started a new character. NB that I wanted to make into a tank. I see a lot of potential there.

Thanks for this. The basic information on tanking was helpful although I forgot to mention that I'm running a stam dk so some of it isn't relevant.

Excellent! Have fun! I ran a DK tank ages ago and it was extremely fun. A lot has changed since then, but it should still be an awesome tank.

Look for crafted sets that give spell and physical resistance, if your a Dk volatile armour will increase this as well , your will also need a taunt skill like inner fire so the boss is fixed on you
