So, we've been in the witch hunt/stamina age for a couple months now. Some received the needed utilities to beat players they could never beat before, others entire play style had to be reworked. The reason I bring this up is now that many have their new sets on, was the change a good decision in retrospect?
I believe it could've been worse. Shield breaker could've just completely negated shields, the roll dodge nerf could've been meaningless and players could still be rolling 6 or 7 times in a row, the damage reduction could've been completely useless after the new sets were in play. Do you see my point? All those things did happen. I can roll dodge like a champ on my stam sorc, one WB takes down anyone's shield for the most part, and I've personally received and given a 15-17k dragon leap a few times.
But I think what really gave me a headache about the patch was that it continued 1.6's min/max damage burst playstyle, but dropped a lot of set ups off the face of cyrodiil. In short, things are kind of boring now. I still have fun in duels, though.
Thoughts?
