Racial discrimination

I have supported this game since launch. I really like the The Elder Scrolls, and have had nothing but numerical problems since the beginning. Certain races get bonuses to damage other ones don't making some racial passives absolete for certain game styles aka pvp or pve making them only work with certain storylines. Is this racial discrimination or is this trying to get certain players to stop playing? Why so they keep saying one thing and the numbers prove another cause they want a certain demographic anymore tr hey don't have a loyalty to a certain customer.
I thibk they need to fix passives that set you on a certain path unless they thought this was gonna be for people to get into Scrolls or to just give us a warning that we shouldn't buy from them anymore.

I just don't know if any of ya'll feel the same but healers heal OK great your healing a crit crits to kill and the higher crit the higher survival rating play style aside cause I can play to match a char with an argon or nord but still stops me bc of passives cUse they can out crut the heals which everyone can receive. And everyone can get a boost too with a higher stamina or magicka.

It's just imbalanced so they can monetize it by offering a race change for 1500-2000 crowns :D

I really don't see the issue here. None of the different Racial Passives either make certain game styles (PvP or PvE) obsolete or Classes (Templar, NB etc) obsolete.

Each Alliance has a viable Race for each Class - granted some are arguably better than others (hence the Adventurer Pack) - but it's all about variation in terms of:
    1. Racial aesthetics.
    - E.g. I personally don't like and wouldn't select Khajit and would hate if this was my only viable choice for NB.
    3. Diversity amongst the playerbase in builds rather than having a standard XYZ build for each class
    - E.g. A Khajit NB doesn't have to worry as much about forcing their crits up with Mundus, CPs, Glyphs or Traits as compared to say a Templar and can have other options for these such as increased Max Stamina or Health
    - E.g. A Khajit NB will have a crit bonus whereas I as a Templar NB will have more health and stamina so in a 1v1 these sort of counteract each other
    5. Actually making Passives useful.
    - E.g. If all NBs were Khajit or Bosmer then it would largely nullify their Stealth Passive because most of the time that comes in to effect from other NBs sneaking them out. An Imperial NB will get spotted before spotting those two whereas those two together will spot each other simultaneously.

Someone (can't remember who) did a experiment on this and from optimal to worst Race for Sorc damage, the damage inefficiency was only ~8% difference. So it really doesn't make much of a difference unless you're doing purely end-game content. Even then, I'd imagine it's all about adjusting your playstyle to suit your Race/build and also how good of a player you are (a 10/10 player on an inefficient Race-Class set-up will still perform better than an 8/10 player on the optimum Race-Class)

Ya, but if the crit bonus on a Khajiit is higher that would include heals and dmg doubling their output over anyone else plus a couple extra hundred I think it is. I find this a little challenging to deal with. The elemental damage on an Altmer is arguably useful as the Breton is resistant to all spells and rarely are any attacks element based besides the DK and the Sorc. And wood elves optimized as a NB or Sorc has issues with regen placement on a min/max cause who here can honestly say they don't role a certain way to PvP so that they can spam and take on large groups.
My guildy introduced me to Sypher who uses a Dunmer Dk in all aspects is maximized and optimized to harass and that play style is controversial in setting cause all they do is wait you out kill you than run. With reflects and purges. The min max bonus on a Dunmer is ultimately what you need to survive considering you can just boost Magicka and Stamina with food than roll over things. Champion points are not racially inclined by any means and need reworked who wants to boost their 5 set of light armor physical resistance and certain points in certain areas do the exact same thing. I think the game needs revision and they did cut corners in the mechanics instead of having a heavily deepend Rpg experience causing game breaking mechanics.
The racial passives being the first cause in the original it was a starting point not the end point. Now its a matter of pvp gold or pve hell.
The mechanics instantly need reworked when break free effects your stamina and if you roll a magicka build your reliance on stamina for your now endless attack bar is active.
Champion points seem rushed and not set in place i.e. boost phys resistance on light armor no one needs it no one uses it.
Every point you put in counters the point your opponent just earned causing no real depth or placement strategy. They used this to keep some game base without in depth revision or strategy.
Racial passives used to start your adventure in Tamriel and make you end up comparing your awesome character to your brother's Dark Elf.
Now its a tool used by people to troll and roll to ruin my and possibly your game experience cause they wanna hate on your race of choice.
Thank you for joining me Sunburnt.
