Long term plan for DLC - Will older DLC become discounted or bundled?
I am a father of 2, single salary, modest income individual. There was a time I had expendable cash and would read people complain about $15 monthly subs for MMOs and could not understand where they were coming from. I now understand. My hobby is getting more expensive, cost of living keeps rising and my salary hasn't moved at all. I've learned to become savvy with my money, making it go further. When it comes to game purchases unless its on top of my radar I'll wait for the price to drop. The only game I have purchased at release in the last year is Fallout 4 ($79.99 cdn - quite happy with my decision). I want to say this is a reality for many of us going forward.
Now for the basis of my post. Does ZOS have plans to discount their DLC once it becomes "dated" or as newer DLC becomes available? I think by having timely (6 months after release seems reasonable) weekend sales or bundling your older DLC at a lower price you will tap into a new source of cash and make a segment of your customer base very happy. Something to consider!
