I felt I needed to comment on the fact that 3 of the 6 Thieves Guild Passives seem to be for "bad" thieves, the ones who got caught or seen while committing the crime! Also, some of the reward things they showed on ESO live were for reducing bounty as well.
I am not sure I like a skill line that promotes sloppy thievery! I would prefer to see players hone their thieving skills!
Passives shown on ESO Live:
Finders Keepers: allows players to open Thieves Guild Troves (special treasure chests)
Swiftly Forgotten: Bounty and Heat drop faster. (Ok, but if you didn't get caught you wouldn't need this!)
Haggling: Sell value of items sold to a Fence increased
Clemency: Bypass guard once every 24 hours (be sneakier and you won't need this:p) - sounds like the 'bribe' option from Skyrim except we don't have to pay them.
Timely Escape: Player can use alternate escape routes to evade guards/citizens will help player escape. (sounds neat but a good thief still wouldn't need this!)
Veil of Shadows: Reduces detect range, makes npcs less likely to report a crime (this one had a really long tooltip and I didn't catch it all, but it sounds like it generally makes stealing things easier, which I don't mind because there are some containers/chests I'd love to loot if a guard weren't standing so close to it...)
I didn't really have any suggestions to replace any of these passives (unless you want to add something like the Champ point passives where you have a greater chance to loot rare items/more gold etc), but I was shocked and somewhat amused that 3 of the 6 are for bad thieves!
