Ability slots

Is it just me or would anyone else like to see more ability slots? I mean one or two attacks with buffs for the rest seems to limit you a lot in combos you could have. Might even cut back on the spam attacks. 10 total slots to me just seem a bit low. I'd like to try a lot of these abilities out but when you have 5 that work, you're kind scared to remove any to try something new. Just my thoughts on it.

    Hope they dont,

    Becuse if they do new promblems will arrive, so maybe when everything is fixed and balenced, Then they can start thinking about adding stuff like this

    It would require a complete rebalance of every skill in the game, with particular attention to skills that have a passive effect for being slotted, passives that have an effect based on how many skills of X category are slotted, and skills that are toggles.

    it would be cool however when I want to try a new setup I just wing it for the first part of a dungeon or something see how it fares and then swap bad components of the bar and replace with the ones you know work haha then continue

    If your're a sorc you can use overload as a 3rd bar

    In general I would be against this, but I wouldn't mind if they created brand new slot for some new mechanics. SOmething like potion slot. Could be connected to possible racial skills, who knows. Just an idea.

    It's not as simple as just throwing another slot in there.

    The combat will never be fixed and balanced, their will always be someone who feels a move is broken or a class is unbalanced. I hope zos doesn't use you logic for future dlc because we would miss out on some potentially great moves.

    We do have more slots. They're just not optimized as well as they should be.

    Quickslot should be able to house situational abilities - the ones you'd use 5% of the time as opposed to 95%. It adds all the slots somebody might want, but makes them work a little for them.

    We have an entire wheel of bait options. So why can't we choose the type of combat bait is best for this spot?

    Although. To the bait wheel idea, I'm not sure if this is really what you meant, but I enjoy it. An easy way to change out skills (or entire bars) between combat. Just open up your "comabt wheel" and select your setup for the next fight. Of course, due to balance things and such this would only be able to be used out of combat.

    Kinda like the addons we have on PC to quickly change your bars... But less buggy and in the base game.

    Well yeah it sucks when you have 10 slots and 5 of them are buffs. Even in MOBAs you often have more skills.

    I don't think it would have to be out of combat. It takes about a second for me to realize a need to and actually switch a potion. If there's a one second cooldown on the quickslot, you could still change quickly, but you wouldn't be able to automate anything to stack or effectively cancel.

    And it's a 100% console-friendly compromise.

    Not saying i agree that there should be more, however you could change the d-pad to activate another bar rather than the quick chat option... or something like that...

    But, not gonna happen.

    It would have to come with some skill rebalancing. I do wish we had an extra slot for toggles sometimes at least so we wouldn't occasionally end up with 3 toggles out of 5 skills at hand>.<

    This exactly, this is one of my big complaints. I feel like its turned into buff combat. I want to use more combat skills not constantly buffing stuff.

    Can you imagine doing that during the heat of battle. My fingers dont work that quick anymore ;) I'd get annihilated.
