Hello,
first of all, I'd like to say I'm very excited about the new DLC, it really looks amazing.
Now I'd like to talk about the new trial theme; In the past, we had trials based on Mundus like The Mage, The Warrior... etc. In the arena we get the <achievement> of Boethiah Scythe. Now, in Orsinium we didn't get a Daedric nickname. So I'm asking about the differences here and if trials are based on something or not?
Is the new trial going to be based on The Thief? Also, one strange thing that caught my attention; In the new trial they specified the bosses race, which didn't happen in the past. I don't think they specified The Mage, Warrior, nor the Serpent race. So why this trial? Or am I thinking too much?

The three trials in Craglorn are not based on Mundus Stones, but on the constellations (from which the Mundus Stones derive), because they are entirely part of the Craglorn storyline, with the Astromancers. Any new trail will most probably not be called after a constellation - nor should it, unless of course they come up with a good story around it.
The new trial is call "Maw Of Lorkhaj" , Lorkhaj being the Khajiit name of Lorkhan, which is one of the most important beings of the Elder Scrolls Lore (he was the one who convinced the original Gods to "escape" the dream of the Godhead and create the "Mundus").
We'll see if that's anecdotal or if there's a real Lorkhan story in there. Can't wait either to see Nocturnal, she has to be in there somewhere... :-)
.
yep yep sameI am hoping it has to do with the Dark Mane storyline thing....don't want to spoiler....

They explained the theme of the new trial in yesterdays ESO lyfe.
In case you are too lazy to look that up here is a short summary for you:
The trial was once a khajiti temple.
It got corrupted by followers of lorkhaj (hence the name maw of lorkhaj)
Through evil rythmic dubstep Khajit get seduced to the dark ways of lorkhaj
A khajiti exorcist (WutFace) asks for your help to cleanse the temple (you kill, she sings ...)
While the trials are generally "based on something", this varies from trial to trial.
The first three trials (AA HRC SO) are connected through the craglorn story line (in wich the thief is represented as well), where you protect mundus from the powers of the serpent, which has corrupted the warrior and the mage. Since the celestials are celestials they are no tamrielic race and more like generic archetypes.
DSA is basically a playground of boethia where he/she/it lets mortals fight for her amusement and crowns the winner(s) as her champion (hence the title). By the way, the former champion was is a dunmer.
MA is placed in a pocket realm of a minor daedric prince, who let his most powerful generals (who move like this) build their own mini realms inside his realm (the individual rounds). Since the prince keeps forgetting pretty much everything you have to "kill" his generals to restor hus memory of them, so he can build his own personal army to invade nirn (YAY). Here we also know the final bosses race. He is a daedra
