How do you get other imperial city armor styles?

Is their a way to get the different styles of imperial city armor from the merchants or am I stuck with my specific factions armor?

It is possible to buy the armour yourself. For example if I wanted EP style shield breaker for my AD charachter I would:
- Gather the required tel var stones and put them in the bank. (Your bank is shared account wide, regardless of what faction your character is in)
- Make a charachter on the faction of which you want the style of armour. (In this case I would make a charachter on EP)
- Level the charachter to level 10
- Enter cyrodill on the level 10 EP charachter and proceed to imperial city
- Access your bank in the sewers and withdraw the required amount of tel var stones
- Go to the sewer vendors and buy the gear you need (It will be displayed as red, this doesn't mean you cannot purchase it, you just cannot equip it as you are not a high enough level)
- Deposit the gear into your bank
- Log onto the charchter you need it for and withdraw it from the bank

P.s. This worked when buying the v16 gear however I am not sure if it works if your looking to buy v1-v15 gear as I think those scale to your charachter level and would be not be available to purchase on a lvl 10 charachter.

You can buy the sets from someone in a different faction through guild stores and the like.

Have someone in another alliance buy armor for you either with their own stones or yours (have them kill you and take the right amount of stones...make sure NO ONE is around to leech).

Aw that really sucks I was hoping their would be a way to get the EP ( best looking ) and AD sets of reactive armor for my non vet, oh well.

Just a side note, they will be adding IC crafting motifs with the Thieves guild as far as I'm aware

No worries man, I actually only found out my bank was account wide a few days ago haha, I always thought banks were only shared with characters in the same alliance
