    You get him after finishing the dlc main quest. I found it funny, how they said, they don´t want to spoiler where to get the assistent, but then showing it on screen when the guy activated his assistent^^

    Well ideally you make the assistants 'cost' something when they are used/summoned. For example the banker can charge a banking fee or the fencer takes more of the items value than other NPC fences (and thus gives you less gold value overall).

    While I do not know if these will be in the game, it could prove to be a slight remedy to your 'ghost town' concern by discouraging the use of summonable assistants.

    Yea... I agree @leogon. I disagree with it being something we always have. In my summonable beast merchants concept (http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/149698/summonable-beast-merchants-and-banker-concept/p1) in which I suggest... a Merchant, a Fence, and a Banker, I suggested ZOS sell consumables in the crown store to summon these creatures. In my ESO+ Benefits thread suggestion (http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/150450/eso-subscription-benefits-suggestions/p1) I suggest ESO+ players get the ability to summon these beast merchants BUT they have hefty cooldowns (36,48, & 72 hours). It's one thing to add these items as a convenience for a sometimes use... it's quite another to add a mechanic that will... in essence... replace what we already have. Of you'll make less off your portable fence, but that is hardly a deterrent, I don't think.

    I hope we can hire Healer DD's and Tank assistants. :)

    The idea might be good long therm. With Orsinium we just explored some of the longest dungeons ever... imagine how useful those assistants will become especially in some endless and hard trials or other dungeons.

    I see this as a very bad idea IMO, as it's making more of the game soloable; not good in an MMO with already a lot of solo stuff.

    I know but it would be just a step closer for a solo experience 100%. :)
    Also i was actually thinking about just one assistant. Just for some harder situations here and there.

    Should be allowed in IC but it works like a trove scamp. Can gank it and take everything they banked lol.

    What this one would really like is to be able to summon one of her own alts as an assistant/pet.

    My orcish sister would be great at gathering fishing bait, doing the fish gutting, moving away curious onlookers, selling fish to passing travellers etc.

    My redguard friend could also cook me lovely meals from time to time while my khajiit companion could gather unwanted objects and store then for my later attention.

    The fence has a 35% fee, which is pretty hefty. We don't know anything about the other two, but I wouldn't be surprised if they'd have something similar. I will be very surprised if they won't be in the Crown Store for like 1500 Crowns each. It's just another convenience thing ZOS can monetize I imagine, won't be a walking city.

    Very happy they won't be in Cyrodiil. Kinda expected, but happy to see it confirmed. It would be game-breaking in IC and not good for performance in general.

    Novetly items are a great way to generate revenue for sustainable development of the game. I will also say im never going to buy any crown items that are available in game fyi.

    That merc motif should be removed from the crown store and replaced with a dlc content item. Thereby at least giving non eso plus members that dont buy content a chance to invest in the game.
