Kas✭✭✭✭✭you're late to the party. 90% have re-rolled a long time ago, very few good ones (btw: you don't "1vX" if you kill 4 farmers in sewers) are remaining.
meanwhile a million scrubs playing 2button "healer" builds in large groups keep templar numbers high enough to convince zos that everything's fine
of course there are also good templars playing grouped, but I think the amount of healer templars in large groups vastly distorts the current state of the class balance wise.Edited by Kas on February 1, 2016 1:53PM@bbu - AD/EU

What confuses me though, is that before I took a break everyone was saying how weak templars are and that they need a buff. I recently come back and they have had nerf after nerf?

✭I have stopped playing on my Templar.... useless. I have even healed on my sorc now since I have so much survival it's not the best healer but... The first nerf was blazing shield then blazing spear. Toppling charge bugs half the time especially in lag, vampire bane could not kill a mud crab. Biting does Lille damage on shields like igneous or hardened. Eclipse would be great if you couldn't just break free of it which most know how to do. The other classes outshine it by a land slide.Sorcerna, proud beta sorc. RIP April 2014 to May 31 2016 DArk Brotherhood. Out of retirement for negates and encases. Sorcerna will be going back into retirement to be my main crafter Fall 2018. Because an 8 k shield is f ing useless. Died because of baddies on the forum. I think that making heals require LoS is 'Fair Enough' but I think that nerfs to range, strength etc. are over the top and every time I see these posts I feel like if they were in the correct sub-forum, then ZOS could more easily see at a glance who is complaining about what and address those complaints within that paradigm - and PVE and PVP are entirely different.
I am pretty sure there are no PVEers going 'OMG nerf heals!'

Agreed. Whoever came up with the design should be shot in the foot and only admitted to hospital when he manages to find 3 other people willing to maim themselves the same way in order to accompany him.
