Beautiful dog, broken tail!

The new dog model is EXCELLENT. It even has a properly modelled mouth and teeth this time. Kudos to whoever made the model. It's lovely.

However, the animation is horrendous. The person who animated the dogs clearly has no idea how a dog moves and holds its tail. The tail especially looks broken in the middle. I've seen it holding the tail up and down and in both instances, it has a distinct break in it. A dog's tail bends in a smooth curve. Unless someone's run over it. A happy or relaxed dog holds its tail up or down close to the body with a smooth curve. This poor beastie desperately needs a vet!

It runs like a rabbit. Please find someone who knows how dogs move and make some new animations for it. Like whoever did them for Dogmeat in Fallout 4. He moves like a proper dog.

I love dogs as much as cats (which ESO have done right), but so far have not bought one in the game because some are missing teeth and tongues and the animations are simply horrible.
RIP Atherton, my beautiful little gentle friend. I will miss you forever. Without you I am a hollow shell.

The announcement today said that the poor pups will be undergoing reconstructive surgery and will have their tails fixed by the time the Thieves Guild DLC comes out.

this they announced it because they wanted to sell them but as usual it wasn't ready to be sold so they put a disclamer out saying they will be fixed with thieves guild release lol

like everything else even the cosmetics are starting to have bugs :#

Auri-el thrice-dammit. Now I can't unsee. And I was so happy with my new dog, too!

Glad to know it will be fixed.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Glad to know they will get better tailness. It had made mw wince as I saw it... being reminded of a dog I once had almost suffering an injury that bad (lucky her, it healed right, though the vets weren't sure for a while)
