In honor of the coming Thieves Guild DLC I present...

My passion project for the last half year or so, on and off, a full on Thievery superguide. Ever since 1.6 dropped I've been working on an immersive and complete guide to everything justice related in ESO. Part Guide, Part Maps, Part Lore-Heavy Fan-Fiction part hand drawn art, I present Rogues Folio in its almost complete form just in time for TG!

For fledgling Thieves and new players or old players who want a refresh or a specific tip or tidbit theres The Guide. Its fully illustrated by me and features some of ESO's beautifull concept art and original game maps. Wanted to try to have it feel like it could exist in game, but also with enough out of game info to make it useful, things like percents, loot tables, diagrams etc. It even has a lockpicking simulator made by one of my fellow redditors! had a self imposed rule of no screen shots so instead I hand drew most of the mechanics in illustrator.
Examples from the guide

For thieves who already know all that there's the maps, the oldest part of the guide. Cryptically annotated maps using a system inspired by Skyrim's 'Shadowmarks' the RF maps show the locations of strongboxes, guards, marks, and safe passage through all the cities of Tamriel. Perfect for planning a circuit, made to look like they could be found in-game and accompanied by little flavor journal entries describing the cities to the best of my ability. The maps can be found HERE!

And finally, Theres a bit of fiction I've been writing ever since I first made the maps. It follows my Redguard thief as he makes his way from city to city, town to town. Its chock full o' lore and **** and not a bad story to boot. Plenty of action, a little bit of betrayal and ****, bit of gruesome murder.

When I found out thieves guild was going to be majorly Redguard themed I about *** my pants. Since this has been such a great project for me, start to finish.

You don't have too much to worry about, most of these maps have been out since last may and I regularly post them on reddit. This info isnt new at this point. Hell, theres been a post in the guide section for 5 months, I just wanted to show the latest stuff Ive been working on.
Also, not a prob cause of a neat trick with strongbox spawning. where in a given city if there are 10 strongboxes only 5 might spawn at a given time. Because of this the more people despawning strongboxes the faster they pop up elsewhere, meaning farming can continue unhindered (at least up to a point). The respawn is almost instant, I think 30 seconds at most. In a city like windhelm I find more strongboxes with 1-5 people competing than I do when I do test runs on the PTS in a vacum (since I have to check all 10 locations of which only 5 might have a spawned box.

Tl;dr this doesn't kill the farm.

Nice job OP! As another kleptomaniac who's been busy documenting all the shinies over at UESP, your maps have proven quite helpful indeed (although there are some inaccuracies and errors that I've found of course). The custom art and story really make these little vignettes a joy to read.

I'm more than happy to pay for and keep supporting this game! Thieves guild looks like it will be the most worth my 2000 crowns out of all the DLC so far.

This is so amazing! I am very excited to take a look through every tidbit of these guides and chapters you have created - I LOVE the sketchbook look and the diary-style entries!! Thanks so much for sharing - I'm just a newb (level 14) but I am seriously obsessed with ESO and want to learn so much! Sorry... gushing here haha
