Hi guys

I've just started stealing stuff and want to level the skill and make as much money as I can. Can anyone recommend some good places to steal better quality treasure and/or motifs in the Aldmeri Dominion?

    If you just want to level the Legerdemain line, go to Vulkhel Guard and run through the warehouse and other buildings / containers along the coastline. You max your daily fence / launder limit in like 10 minutes.

    The building that the Vulkhel Guard bank is located in as well. There are multiple trunks and cabinets to check just in the bank area alone, more in the room with the closed door across from it and even more upstairs.

    Hey there! You might enjoy the Rogue's Folio.

    It is pretty useful, and an interesting read even if you are already used to thieving.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    Vukhel Guard is indeed a good spot. So many buildings with so many trunks, nightstands, chests, desks, cabinets, wardrobes. (all containers normally containing better loot stuff)

    Orsinium is another (not technically AD)

    Id point to Marbruk and Skywatch as second and third.


    Theres also an area in grahtwood that has 5 treasure chests that spawn within a few seconds sprinting of one another. But I havent checked in over a year so they may have changed it if people abused. Allthough when I'd swing by there I was always the only one, so I guess its not very known and will avoid divulging grinding/farming info on here. I hate encouraging it....

    Just go to khenarthis roost, kill 2 npcs just south east of mistral and kill all the sheep and loot all guts, then go the refuge and sell and launder.....I levelled up to 16 ledgerman (reduction stam sneak passive) in roughly 5 days
