That would make your own post offensive.

If you banned the word 'nerf' it would be replaced with something else. Personally I find the 'nerf' threads amusing and sometimes thought provoking.

No one is forced to read a thread.

I get tired of coming here every day seeing new threads about nerfing or someone wanting something without earning it. I hate it so much that it is kind of making me not want to be part of the community.

Only thing I can suggest for the people that don't like the stupid nerf threats is don't support them. Don't post any kind of comment in the thread and just let it fall to the bottom.

I think if you have a problem with a skill or something and you think it needs nerfed or fixed then send some kind of report to ZOS.

ok so explain how can a stamina NB survive IF cloack gets nerfed...because cloack is only "OP" on mag NB fyi...

stam NB can only do 3-4 cloacks in a row...without it and without class self healing your toast.

In the right hands all the classes are OP. Yup all of them. They all have OP skills which are designed to aid the mass slaughter of enemies or players.

At what point do you have to nerf health points because all the skills are no longer effective?

I posted a thread about nerfing nerf threads - it got taken down and I got told off

I rlly don't understand ppl's obsession with nerfs. I mean, when I started with my Sorc, I felt DK's were OP but I never complained about them. I just sucked it up, tried harder and eventually learned to overcome them. Not all of them ofc xD , player skill matters a lot too.

I think it's just better to play with what we got and not try to influence ZOS with pointless nerf threads, since that will just upset both balance and the playerbase (nobody like seeing the chars theyy put so much effort and time in nerfed "to the ground")

However, changes need to be made too. Att this point, DK need some nerfs removed, Templar needs srs fixing, Sorcs need more Stam options and NB have 2 very strong moves (SA and Ambush) that need a bit of tweaking (buff/debuff moved ti stealth perhaps?)

Nerfing just upsets everything, it's time to start buffing things ZOS. Some thoughts on this from you guys would be much appreciaated

Because it's easier than the alternatives;

1. Adapting to counter the problems you face
2. Thinking of ways to buff your class if you feel like it's not performing as well as it should/could be

Why go through all that trouble when you can just log onto the forums after getting rekt and scream nerf?

Do you still refuse to admit that cloak is indeed a VERY STRONG ability? Oh my ....

How much hate does cloak get for invisible potions? Some of these guys obviously ignored alchemy. My stamblade probably gets so much hate for using them but anyone can. 14 seconds of invisibility? yes please then hide and wait 30 seconds on the potion cooldown. Anyone complaining about cloak certainly refuses to explore all options available to them and also ignores the counters. I pity them

The right way of going about getting changes done to the game is to ask for fixes. And then back it up with evidence of what is broken/not working as intended about the skill/class youre addressing. Then add in some suggestions to change it that would improve it to better suit the game without completely breaking that class for others.

The vast majority of people calling for nerfs have never even touched the class/ability theyre complaining about. They dont know how viable the ability/class is and how difficult the ability/class can be to use in game. They think that their builds should be able to counter everything thrown at them. Even when the build they face is designed specifically to counter them. Even when people show them there are means of defeating those abilities/classes. They continue to demand a nerf. Theyre toxic members of this community that serve no other purpose than to undermine the balance that we do have. They dont want balance, they want to feel superior and unbeatable as if this was a Single Player game.

We as a community need to take a stance that we wont acknowledge these sort of threads anymore. Instead of letting the threads build up to 10+ pages of vitriol and headbanging nonsense where we try to reason with these people. We need to ignore them. Show them they wont get the attention they desire, not even from the community.
