Do we need more Character Slots if:

Well i am using all of my character slots, but right now only 4 of the 8 are playable. The other 4 are just hold stuff i dont want to get rid of.

Now for a hoarder like me, If my understanding is correct, it seems there are some things coming that might help me hoard and not require to use character slots as mules.

1) Crafting bag - i believe this will be a bag for all your crafting mats and will be infinite in size. This will take some of the pressure off my Bank, meaning i could maybe take things from my mules and leave it in the bank
2) Player Housing - I know very little about this, but if it is like Skyrim, you could put infinite amount of things inside cupboards and drawers in your house. If that is part of the Player Housing that they are planning for ESO, then i could take all the stuff on those 4 mules and put them in my house. I would then have no need for more character slots for a while.

I guess i am making assumptions here a) that the two mods above work as i expect they might and b) that most players are like me in that their character slots are full due to mules and not due to having 8 playable characters, in which case those people would not be helped by the above 2 things.

Oh and i also assume that c) player housing is shared across all your characters like a bank, and i might have that completely wrong too i guess.

Personally, I have 8 playable characters (magicka and stamina version for each classes). The only reason I'll be happy to have an another character is because one of them is in the wrong alliance, and I don't want to erase it (each of them are rp character as well, so…).

I have used all 8 slots already and try out different ways to play the game. To have it comparable, I have most of them in DC and just 2 in EP, but none in AD. I would like to have at least 2 in AD as well to see how it is going there and where the difference is to the other territories. I got somewhat attached to my characters and do not want to delete one of them. So I would appreciate if I could buy like 2 more slots to have as well 2 characters in AD.

Neither a crafting bag nor housing will allow me to play at least one character of every race, so yes, we need more slots.

I have a severe case of 'Alt-aholism'.

I've been to the doctor and they say it's incurable... I have a prescription for another 10 character slots. Do you think ZoS will take this instead of crowns?

In all my other TES games I've played, I've always ran 4-5 chars through, normally getting to the level 40-50 mark and completing all the main quest lines. I like to play from different points of view/playstyles in these, so that's exactly what I'll be doing here. Getting lots of max level chars through questing takes a while though, but so long as I enjoy it it's worth it.

Lots of us have our character slots full because of characters we actually play, so reducing the inventory issues won't help.

I've got 8 characters, no mules, and ideas for another 3 or 4 I'd like to play atm.
I don't need more character slots but I'd like them and more importantly for ZOS would spend money on them.

I had a "mule" character once... ended up playing that one, V3 nowadays...

All eight character slots in use, loweest level in V2, and I would cheerfully make a few more and play 'em.

I personally don't need it. I only use 5 slots of which I use 2 (main and crafter). The other 3 are alts I never felt like playing on. (I am only vet 7 so I have never had a time when I needed alt inventory but that might change). But I would also love to see a toybox/trophy box for active trophies like the ones from open dungeuns so I don't need to have em in the bag. And a way to learn quest costumes so I don't have to worry about them disapearing or taking up space.
