- Champion points come from anything that gives you XP.
- Champion points are earned faster the less you have of them.
- When enlightened, you earn champion points 4 times faster.
- Enlightened means you spent a good amount of time NOT playing the game.
All of the above is basically a "catch up" mechanic that lets players that don't play as much (or are new to the game) catch up (well, to some extend anyways) with players that have a lot of time to spend in-game.
Without all this, the gap between the ones that play a lot and those trying to catch up would never shrink ...

Sorry to necro this thread, but it wasn't answered. When does one stop being enlightened? I am curious for this as I study and go to school a LOT.
