Leveling

Hey all,

Returning player here, and I'm wondering what the fastest way through the VR's is nowadays? Grinding in Orsinium/IC? Running vet dungeons with groups? Working through the cadwells zones?

I've got a V2 sorc that I'm working on leveling to 16, and any help would be appreciated.

For DC: Get through Silver ASAP -> Zombie Grind to v10 -> Cats Grind to v15 -> IC grind

I'm AD, not DC. Any advice for the dominion?

1. Get through Silver (this should level you quite a bit already).
2. Kill the zombies in Bangkorai (North-East of main town) until you reach VR11.
3. At VR11, go grind in Wrothgar public dungeons until you reach VR16.

Don't forget to use XP potions...

Going into Wrothgar is the easiest place to level up I've found.
I'm AD as well.

grinding orsinium public dungeons I went from vet 14-16 in 2.5 hrs with xp pots so id say that did it in a corse of 2 days playing 1 hr a day and then some it was probably closer to 2:10 in total

In the course of 1 day,I went up like four levels in Wrothgar.But this was for 6 hours or so,and with interruptions.

Grinding normal maelstrom arena is about 1 - 1.5 lvl per run. once you get it locked down you can do it in 25min

Ah I didn't realize Msa was that good, I just have to figure it out for my class (Sorc/magicka). Is that with xp potions?

It depends on the time of day. IC grinds tend to give more xp, but can get crowded quickly. I prefer IC because I can farm trophies and gear for decon in the process. The tel var stones is nice too because I can stock up on mats with them. Old Orsinium isn't bad either. Just grab a buddy to watch each other's back in IC, bur more than 2-3 people and the xp gains drop pretty significantly.

Questing will level you up pretty well. I'm not sure why so many people playing an MMO seems to hate questing. That's how I have leveled my chars recently.

Wrothgar public dungeons
Wrothgar daily quests are advertised in zone chat often.
IC grind if you can get a buddy to go.
Maelstrom Arena works ok, too.

I agree with this time of day does effect any grinding

this is prob best bet just because you don't have to worry about anyone else and can do at your own pace(ish) haha

Cyro caves. Best xp going. Get in your buff campaign and it's easy 1 level in 45 mins using scrolls or pots. Or the arena but it's painfully slow sometimes. Even normal runs take an hour. Plus you get nothing to sell and somehow higher repair costs and armor wears 10x faster in there. I don't see the xp in wrothgar dungeons. My NB gained nothing in 2hrs of running around in there.
