Can't Register On Forums: Invitation Not Found

Hey there!

I have 2 guildies who are trying to register for these forums, but they say they aren't able to because they are getting a message saying "Invitation Not Found" when they click on the register button. Is this something new? Is there something they need to do to make an account here?

i had this myself a while back, tell them to put in a support ticket.

i did that and i got a response saying they had sent out a new invitation and please wait 24 hrs, that didnt turn up for me either so i replied saying still not got it and i got a very quick response asking me what username i would like (and to list a few)

so i sent them a list and they made my account for me, i just had to change the password once i got it, was all very painless and well handled.

I didn't get an invitation, I contacted support and they sent me one in a couple of days.

I think if you're coming from console, you have to ask for one via support/email, that's how I got here...

I didnt know we have to be invited. I've been here so long that I forgot if this is so or not. XD

I had this too, I contacted support and in the ticket I gave my Gamertag and Date of purchase. I received an email back pretty quickly, the same day I believe, and a member of staff created an account for me and gave me my password.

I messed up my initial forum entrance myself, contacted support, it took me two tries, but once they got my call for help they were very nice and set things up for me right away. So, yeah, that's the way to go about it.

Same for me, lost my invite/forgot, sent an email to support. They set mine up for me within the hour.
