What the hell is going on in PvP campaigns at the moment?
When I log in now, regardless of the time, even in OFF PEAK times, I am faced with 500+ ping at a bare minimum but it will constantly spike between 600 and 999+ the whole time.
What is going on?
Why is this happening?
You guys are steadily making things worse. For sanity's sake, fix this thing. I derive no joy from this game any more and am logging in less and less often.
We need an official comment on this because this has really gotten very bad!
@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_BrianWheeler
HELP!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE!!!!!!

Not that I'm defending how bad the lag is or anything, but the lag is better now than it was a few patches ago. How quick we are to forget that lag used to mean server crashes and rollbacks, /sitchair for 30 minutes straight watching zero abilities actually go off, and losing offensive keep takes because siege stopped working and the defending faction repaired all of the walls while the keep unflagged. Pretty much none of that happens anymore.
As for the OP, there are several official statements on the lag in Cyrodiil. They're just not in your thread coddling you and whispering to you at night that everything will be ok.
With all of that said... the lag sucks.

Actually, I was in Haderus for all of a half hour last night and the ping was consistently abysmal. Anytime something happened on the map, my ping went above 400 to 800 and stayed there for a solid ten minutes.
Maybe I'm forgetting what it was like prior to the previous incremental, but this is the worst it's been for me.
There's nothing in incremental patches affecting lag. You notice the changes in major updates which is what I'm referring to. What you're experiencing is a populated server.

Same issue in Australia mate.
Was fine 280ish ping up until last Monday. Since then unplayable in oceanic prime for me. IC is ok, cyro unstable. Also getting spikes that weren't previously happening.

sadly not, EU spellbreaker 12o`clock on a working day <1popbar per alliance IC and cyrodiil permanent 500-780ms latency...
