Good Morning people of Tamriel. I trust you are well.

I have been theory-crafting a 'Survival Hunter' build for Elder Scrolls Online, and this is more or less what I have come up with (please note I have not placed any skill points into professions or ledgermain etc, only the trees that are crucial to this build). I have done my best to exemplify the fantasy of this class with the limited options in terms of skill trees relating to nature abilities and pets that aren't Daedra.

I assume you used some skills with which you are not familiar. You can't use Hircines Rage in human form, so if you want to use it, you need to slot the ww ultimate. In this case you get a 3rd skill line that holds the ww skills and is used while you are transformed, so you can choose another skill to use while you are in human form. Furthermore your pets need to be on both bars, otherwise they disappear every time when you swap between your primary and secondary weapon.

This is not so dissimilar from the Orc stam sorc I made as a scroll runner long ago.

Like lolo said, you can't really use those pet skills and also weapon swap, as they'll disappear, and you'll waste time recasting them, which takes a long time.

Far more importantly you don't have critical rush on there, and it is absolutely necessary both for damage and self-heal on crit for a stamina sorc. It also gives the same buff as evil hunter so unless you're planning on fighting solely Daedra or WW there's no reason to run it.

I really do use lightweight beast trap quite a lot.

I've been thinking I may try a 5xHunt Leader/5xTwin Sisters/2xMaw of the Infernal pet build, which is why this thread title caught my eye.

Thanks for the feedback so far guys! Knew it was a good idea posting it here, as I have never been a werewolf before so thought that those skills are useable both in and out of WW form. My bad.

@runagate I can't see Critical Rush, is it part of a skill tree or where do I find this?

Crit rush is the second skill of the 2h skill line. It's a gap closer.

Also, let me apologize for jabbering about this so early in the morning as I meant "crit surge"

Crit rush is indeed important, but mostly for maneuverability and critting against shielded foes in PvP, likely something you needn't worry about yet.

As a stam sorc I don't really use pets but if you choose a morph you'll likely want the healing morph of the Twilight as it's come in handy more often than the other morph. Again, I apologize for the confusion.
