It would be cool if you [ZoS] added a story-line that allows for players to deliberately play as a bad guy; whether that be by means of servitude to Molag Bal or any other Daedric Prince. Perhaps a future DLC can have this option. And for goodness sake, make sure npcs can recognize players playing as a vampire or werewolf. It's a bit weird having an npc vamp saying something like 'Sorry if the blood bothers you' to another vampire. Actually ... to be honest, it's kind of stupid.

I agree. All of it. We've asked for these things before. No response from ZOS.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

Yeah, I loved when I was doing the Wrothgar quests and then I talked to that girl that gives you the Silver Dawn quest AS A WEREWOLF... and she was like

"You, help us, we kill werewolves but they attacked us!"

    and I was like...

"girl... I am a freaking werewolf myself."

I mean... ZOS do get some really nice conditional dialogue right sometimes... like when you slap the guard in the face like "Man, I defeated Molag Bal, I can handle this!", I laughed so much at that option... Why not add other conditionals based on race/werwolf/vamp/etc...?

As for your original idea... I'd love some kind of PVP/PVE region where players "pick sides" on the region story (something like the vampires/slayers on the first Skyrim DLC) and then each side has a storyline that "gets in the way" of the other side, allowing battles between players that picked different allegiances.

For non-PVPers to enjoy the same content, a "factionless" storyline striving for peace between the two factions could be available, too.

Doing that right kinda would require a Huge amount of work on ZOS part... so I doubt it will ever happen. At best we may get some DLC questlines where we get to make a choice to join one of two sides in mid-questing. If that.

Though people can play as murderous criminals who just happen to defend nirn in their spare time because they don't want to share all their murder victims with some daedric prince. That's as bad guy as it gets in ESO I guess...

Agreed. I'd love it if doggies and suckers got extra dialouge bits to show NPCs recognizing their status. Also, I'd love it if Vamps would show NPC vampires/bloodfiends as "neutral" and woofers show NPC werewolves as neutral... birds of a feather and all that...

To be fair, I recall the previous game director (Paul Sage?) mentioning that vampires and werewolves would have an impact with the justice system, or at least that guards would take notice. Whether that ever comes to pass, I don't know. Maybe that's one of the new criminal activities one can partake in the Thieves Guild dlc?

Honestly, I want skooma. If they don't implement that into the TG dlc somehow I will be sorely disappointed.

Wanna play villain - go play swtor. You can be criminal scum though. Stop right there!

It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt,
It lies behind stars and under hills,
    And empty holes it fills,
It comes first and follows after,
    Ends life, kills laughter.
