Show a timer for character deletes

I've been making and deleting characters a lot lately trying to figure out what to play and I feel this tiny bit of Info would be really useful for me and other indecisive people like me. That being said I'm ok with a delete every 24 hours although I want more I understand why its a thing. This game is amazing and this one little thing would make it even better for me personally. If there is a fancy addon that can tell me this info that would be cool too but I haven't done any digging to see if one exists yet.

If you're on PC there are 8 more PTS character slots waiting for you to experiment with without having a permanent live character ... Just FYI. Take screenshots of the character bar settings and move over to Live.

Didn't think of that but I don't think i have the space on my HDD for the PTS. =(

Plus, if you're on PC and have enough space for a second installation (I've no idea how it works for console), you have another 8 slots on the other megaserver (EU or NA depending on which you're on at present).

Well done, however, on putting your request politely while conceding that you're happy with the present timer and the reasons for it. Your post is a refreshing contrast to the other more "entitlement rants" there have been on this subject !

It's a thing because Bots.
It prevents this, which we had to deal with at Launch.

Oh I know about the bot thing. Like I said I understand why its a thing. I guess I could have been more clear either way never saw this video before.

So basically a little timer on the login screen that says something like "22hrs 42min until next Delete is available"? Yeah, that seems like a pretty good idea.

And yes, when the topic of the delete timer comes up it's usually someone bitching and moaning about it without understanding (or caring) why it's in place. So it's nice to see someone impacted by it who still understands why it's in place and is reasonable about that.

Exactly that! A simple timer is all I would need to be satisfied even more with this game. I did a bunch of research into why the timer and limit were a thing before I even considered posting this, and the reason for it is perfectly sensible to me. The less bots running around the better.

Great idea, would be welcome! I also create and delete lots of chars, waiting to delete one now actually! I wanna reuse the name.
