I used to rock two daggers, but I had 68% Crit chance.

So I grabbed two swords instead. 3% extra damage is not in anyway noticable.

Now I dual wield daggers again.

    It depends on your build.

If you're a magicka build using dual wield to increase your spell damage, then swords are the obvious answer.

If you're a stamina build actually using dual wield abilities and stuff, then it depends on if you're focusing more on crits or weapon damage. If you're building primarily for weapon damage, then the 3% extra damage from swords will be noticeable. If you're building for crits, then the extra crit chance from daggers will be better for you unless your crit chance is already high enough that you're basically always getting a crit.

stam sorc= daggers for the crit chance since that is your main heal
magica sorc= swords for the damage boost

Good point, I don't have a stamina sorcerer, so i hadn't thought of that aspect of it.

yeah, my first v16 toon is a stam sorc and they have no self heals (until you get vigor) unless you use Crit Surge. With a high enough crit rating it GREATLY increases your survivability by healing you every crit hit- light attacks, heavy attacks, steel tornado, WB, focused aim....any crit. Without that skill stam sorcs are just fodder. But on my magica Templar I use swords for the increase damage. Now if the crit chance on daggers applied to spell crit too, that would be a whole different matter

I used to use swords for one build, and daggers for the second set of skills.
