- Debuff typically means reduced speed, reduced damage, reduced armor, stuns, etc

VoiDGhOs7✭✭✭✭CC means "crowd control",in ESO there are 2 types of CC one is soft CC which doesn't deny you to cast abilities while you're rooted ex.talons,encase,etc.
The 2nd one is hard CC that force you to break free to be able to use any ability again ex.fear,defensive rune,destructive clench,etc.2 -

No, you can also CC someone from a distance (cripple).

To further expand upon this, soft CC's do not proc CC immunity. Hard CC's proc CC immunity (when it is working, which sadly it often is not).PS4 NA Server
